Im canceling my preorder

So what happened to building a new SOCOM4 from scratch, thats what they said when it was delayed, last year ,they said they where going to build SOCOM4 from scratch,from the ground up.I was so excited,i went out and preordered and payed for my game in full.well im going to cancel my order and get my money back now.I was one of the IDIOTS who bought the PS3 when it first came out and paid way too much money for it ,i really never played any of the the games ,i really just used it to watch BLUE-RAYS,until SOCOM CONFRONTATION came out, iwas hooked, Ithought it was 1 of the best games i ever played ,i played almost every night for hours on end ,my wife was getting pissed at me because i played it so much,met alot of good people online with CONFRONTATION,joined the BEER CLAN,and it was like a family of gamers who loved playn the game.it is very dissapointing to me to hear that SOCOM 4 isnt anything like confrontation or that they didnt make it better than confrontation but made it WORSE like MAG or COD, I play BF2 now all the time but its NO SOCOM, I really miss the days of SOCOM,was really expecting with SOCOM4 that it would be great times again playn online. I hear you. .. Is your ps3 backwards compatible?

Ithink it is safe to say ,that in past years of SOCOM they made the the game better,and improved the games,now they are taking away with some of the features that made socom ,SOCOM,i loved playn ESCORT, DEMO,i wasnt the best at it, but it was fun, it was different, then just playn control points and just going out and killing, like COD,MAG,and so on so on.they went backwards and not forward with game, im really,really, sad .The only reason i pretty much stopped playn CONFRONTATION is because everytime i played it seems like people where LAG SWICTHN or GLITCHN in the game and pissed me off,you know they came out with a patch to stop the GLITCH up on the mountain, and then COLD FRONT PACK came out and it seems they didnt do anything after that to stop this problem. VERY SAD..

My old 1 was i had the fat 60 gigr ps3 but it toke a dump about 4 mths ago, now i have the slim with the intercooler on it and it still freezes up sometime on me

It's not SOCOM for sure, but I will buy it just because there aren't too many 3rd person shooters out with a great Clan system. This game will allow up to 120 people on a Roster and I can make everyone an officer. Which means that you an create a Clan Lobby and have your own team join you,,,, then I or whoe ever else can create another Clan Lobby and have people from our Clan join and we can WAR each other with in our own Clan, sounds like fun. That alone may be worth buying the game for. I know it's just like joining a Lobby in the old games but this seems to be a bit more competitive.

I don't like the way SOCOM has gone either, but RON we have bought way worse games than this and I was hoping you would buy it so the other guys would follow. I look at it at this point just another shooter to play until another game comes out. I am not buying it because it's not SOCOM anymore, I was like this at first, but I bought Medal of Honor and played it for 2 hours.

I hope you re consider for the Clan side of it. And I hope everyone in BER buys it just to have fun, nothing more.

you know I have been against this game since community day. voraciously so,
negative about it on many sites, youtube and my phone textx to socom friends.
..I did not expect to be in the private beta.
I did not like it the first day, really didnt!
2nd day getting used to the controls.
played last night and had some discussions with alot of people of varrying views.
keep in mind I am a hardcore strict ol skool socomer, still play 1 and 2 many times per week. almost everynight.
I have to say. the more you play the game the more you start to like it.
now to me it still is not socom but I am actually starting to like the game.
someone said last night "it has a socomesque feel".
I agree with that,
hopefully with camera pull back- d pad lean added, socom game modes and a few other issues it will actually "feel" like a socom...
go ahead and flame me now any Ditch troll or hater.
I didnt say I was buying the game yet.

my second post which I should have put 1st

yesterday at work I was thinking about deleting the beta.
I went to do it last night and decided to play it with some friends before I did..
played a map with my opposite- Dirty Walter, he got off so I got on con,
friends on con went to bed after 2 quickmatches. so I got back on s4 and thats when I started to like it more.
give it an honest try- get the feel of the controls, feel of the game, get at least decent at it before youdecide to never even try it again.

yeah this is really me, not someone else using my account. the game still aint socom yet.
socom 2 is still king

All I am asking from a Clan view, that I hope people in [BER] will buy this game not for SOCOM but to have fun with everybody because the numbers will be big on this game for us and I don't want anyone left out.
