I thought I would update this thread since it is around new years.

SOCOM 4 is 16th, right behind Killzone 3. S4 is at 47K pre-orders now making it the highest pre-ordered PS3 game without a release date(this is possibly a meaningless fact), next in that list would be FF14 online which has 10K less pre-orders than S4.
I think it actually is possible that SOCOM 4 is going to sell more than Killzone 3. Also, SOCOM 4 should break the 50K mark by new years.

I think alot of the pre-orders are people who are too lazy to actauuly go to Gamestop and pcik it up, so they are having it delivered. Which makes it look more like a pre-order than it really is just some fat dude too lazy to buy it at the store.

Yeah your right, I always go to he store and pre order mine, then go to the store and pick it up. So I guess either way it's a pre order. I just hate lazy people, LMAO.
