PS2 EMULATION IS HAPPENING

The new hot subject at the moment is the PS4 will be able to play PS2 games on it.. How and what that means for Socom fans is still up in the air..

Not much information on this but it can be what we are all looking for to play SOCOM again. What I am hoping for is the set up that the prior backwards compatible PS3's had. We were able to log on to the servers using our PS3 and Play PS2 Socom games..


This is all I ever wanted to be honest in my PS4..

I am not either.. You know how it goes for us and Socom.. Never works out the way you want it to.


Watch,,, they will give us Socom with out Multi-player, they will do some dumb shit like that and expect us to be happy about it.

We have talked about the possibility of them not supporting multiplayer because they haven't announced anything as of yet. However, if we do see it on Playstation 4, it will bring a lot more attention to the remastered push. It would still be playable on Playstation 4 through xlink I assume. Would you guys settle for an emulation?

I would love an emulation with Multi-player with upscaled PS4 graphics.. Here is a video of some comparison using the new Star Wars game that has been emulated.. It looks fantastic..

I asked because there is some people who wouldn't settle for an emulation. I get so excited when I see the FPS increase. Just imagine playing Fish Hook, Vigilance, and any other map that had horrible lag. Not only will the lag be gone but the graphics will be improved. Do you think an emulation is more plausible than a remaster?

No doubt, if anything is going to happen soon it will be the emulation that allows us to play SOCOM using our PS4's. In about a week or so,, Sony is having a gaming conference in San Francisco and I am sure all the details about this will be presented..



Cross your fingers for this, if emulation allows us to play PS2 Socom games using our PS4's on-line that is all we need.
