Still Playing

I popped in Socom Combined Assault about 2 days ago and it was still really fun, found a good room and ran about 6 games, UNTIL !

A little kid came in the room, I could hear him talking but couldn't see his name nor did it show him in the room. He said does anyone have a mic, we all ignored him, the little kid said, ok, well since no one has a mic I will be shutting this room down. I heard another voice, who was a young girl say, Good these guys suck anyways. I said hey lil dude you need to leave and the reason why Socom is fucked up because you little dumb ass idoits need to get a life, he said something stupid and left.

30 Seconds later the room froze and i had to completely re boot my PS2. This was the 3 rd time it happened in one day, Password rooms don't work either. So for those who say go play Socom 2 or CA if you miss it so much, I tried and did, but kids have ruined the best game ever made.

Thinking about getting me another ps2 myself. I still have my CA and plan on getting S2 and give them a shot.

You should, it was really fun to load it up and play some jungle maps. Miss that the most.

I did some coop on it last night. My tritton ax pros dont work for the mic though, my name on there is gambit but im not sure how its spelled

I still have the game ... and a few PS2s lol (pack rat "I KNOW")
might be interesting to have like a Retro Night some tome and get some people on there

I play Combined Assault all the time on the PS2. I saw something on the Socom.com forums that an upgrade is possibly coming as a patch or something that will allow all PS3's to play PS2's games. I have the 60 Gig so mine does it already on most PS2 games.

But, I also kept my Ol Skool PS2 with the fat harddrive on the back, I use this to play Socom PS2.
