Party System for Socom 4

Third Patch – SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs v1.04
Estimated Release: July 2011

Activation of SOCOM 4 Party System (up to 16 players per party)
Fixed bug that prevented Bomb Squad and Uplink matches from ending despite one team winning the required number of rounds
Added additional weapon knock to single and burst-fire modes to all weapons to limit rapid-fire exploits
Added functionality to allow all Gametypes to support independent XP bonuses
Games played with Classic rules now implement an open mic system for players in the Spectator lobby

How much do you wanna bet it'll be horribly broken? Lol, i'll definitely hop back on S4 to check it out, but I've had about enough let-down to get excited over this.

Yeah Paul, after reading up in the Socom.com forums, I just don't see myself buying this game again. Three months since release, and this is what we have....

• Broken party system
  
• Broken weapon firing and bloom
  
• Horrible maps
  
• Worse game modes
  
• A cover system
  
• Uber-camping
  
• Crappy gunfighting
  
• Shitty communication system
  
• No lobbies
  
• No hope

And this is after, what, four patches? Sheesh. All hope is gone, my firends. SOCOM is dead, Zipper sucks balls, and Sony doesn't give a shit. If I see anyone on Confrontation or COD, I'll jump in, but SOCOM 4 is a mere glint in my gaming rear view...

I don't blame you, in a few months 2 big releases are coming out and I suspect Socom 4 will be worse off the Confrontation.

I didn't believe Zipper could of screwed up SC4
worst than they did.But i was wrong the fucked up
SC4 i was in a game last night the P.S. was wacked
I played not 1 full game with my friends/clan cause it
keeped putting us in diffrent room after room when the
game was playing or i would get kicked out to a loading
or black screen and was able to shoot my gun yes patch 1.04 is beyond
broken there was alot of other issues to the game.Finally after
getting booted for the 6th time i gave up that was in a 2-hour span of trying to play..

that's pretty bad experience Billy Bad. I'm glad I didn't buy S4 yet.

If I play Blops for 2 hrs, I will not get booted. I can host a party of 6 & play non stop for hours on end. Took them a few months to work out the kinks but it runs smooth, so did MW2.

It will be interesting if S4 can be fixed & playable before MW3 or BF3 are released. My money says NO

So far Zipper has no commented on what they are doing about it, other than saying Sony Techs are working on the problem.
