Running Socom on emulator question

So we've got PCSX2 set up on my PC and are trying to get xlink to recognize the emulator but it won't.  Any idea what is causing this?

We've got the IP set for the mac address, along with the subnet mask set and default router set. When we run it under a laptop connected(hard-wired) to our router it works perfect. However the router is too far from this computer to hard wire it in. So we are trying to set it up over wifi. We are running on pcsx2 v 1.1 with the dev9 gigarazi 7.3 and xlink v 7.4.30.

If your solution wasn't in the troubleshooting section of the guide, can you post the problem and what you did to fix it?

We found and followed your guide, now our only problem is, one person playing on ps2 console, and me playing on PC emulator in the same house, we can't connect to each other on xlink just says establishing link, we changed the port I'm running off of so we both aren't running on the same port and it still won't connect us.

No clue how to help you there, sorry. Maybe Dom can help you out though, I would shoot him a PM.

Are you playing Socom 2 using the private servers? how is that working out. I haven't logged in to play that yet.. I was thinking about doing it soon. Is it difficult to do?

Playing SOCOM Confrontation tonight on my PS3, there was over 200 plus people playing when I logged in.
