Are we talking on a pure talent level, or what they have done for the community?

If we are just talking about talent, I would have to say Myself. Unless anyone can tell me who else has not played S2 for over 10 years and then in their first game back wins the MVP by a large margin. That is a featt hat will never be accomplished by any player of Socom. So thats why I get my vote.

Now if its about positive work done for the community I would vote for Myself. I have done more to unite the community than anyone else I know. my ability to engender mental breakdowns and emotional reactions from the Low Test segment of the Socom community is unmatched. If the people who hated me could harness the useless energy they spend on obsessing and analyzing the things I say, they might actually get something accomplished.

Turban by far, so much respect for that guy and it has only grown over the years. I was expecting him in particular to rip a hole into SOF studios and binasty with that bs but he took the high road in both situations. Combine that with his previous "work" on s4/confrontation he's pretty much the guy I'd recommend any future devs of socom consult with

Gonna have to go with Tombstone. For years prior to TRS I lurked the Socom boards, and I took great pleasure in watching him completely lay waste to Dirty Walter over and over again. That and his research papers on SOCOM were very insightful.

He was literally a great source of entertainment and information for a couple of years while I was waiting for long SQL queries to return values. He was one of a few people whose posts I never skipped over.

I'd have to say it was a guy I used to play with back in the day from a clan called "ALR" and he used the simple screen name "Sir". He was a really good natural sniper, no jump sniping, no quick sniping, just finding spots to pick people off and then periodically move locations so they couldn't pin him down to a location and seemed to be successful at it no matter what the map might be. On top of being a great sniper who rarely missed with his first shot at a person he was also just a cool person on the mic to have a convo with. Normally he played with his clans doing wars and such but when his clan wasn't around he'd hang out with us for the night in our clan created room.
