Anyone fans of the Walking Dead

I just watched Season 8 ep. 1 and it was intense.. I think Neegan is going to fuck these guys up as usual.. No way Rick has good luck this season.. Always ends up with something bad happening.

You dont want to get Mack or myself started on how disappointing this show has become. Negan is literally the only reason I watch anymore and once his story arc is finished, I will be done with the show.

Nothing ever happens except on midseason and season finales. They spend episodes devoted to the group fighting over cans of beans or they do the time lapse garbage where half a season takes place over the span of 1 day and each episode is dedicated to a separate person. It kills the pacing of the show when they pull this.

 Every character has plot armor now, AMC never kills anyone important off just so AMC can sell Darryl coffee mugs to all the soccer moms who watch. The only good thing about this show right now is watching Negan one time a season bash a main characters brains in and then heading on Youtube to watch all the women cry in reaction videos.

Yea man. AMC is so fucking greedy that they just slow walk the show from season premires to season finales. I watch it only because I cant bring myself to stop watching it after watching it for 7 years. The amount of actual plot advancement in the 100 episodes could easily be edited down to 20 shows. Its become nothing more than a cash grab at this point.

If they cut down the show from 16 episodes to 10 or maybe 12 a season, I think it could still be a good show.

But with 16 episodes to fill a season, you know going into it that atleast 12 of them are going to be pure filler bullshit where nothing happens. 

Like last season, that episode were Tara finds the lesbian camp or whatever. That was seriously one of the worst episodes ever made on that show. What topped it off was hearing her say that she was "starving from only eating soy sauce packets" while the actress playing her was pregnant and gained atleast 20-30 pounds since the last time you saw her on screen.

Great immersion there AMC.

I binged watched it about 2 years ago on Netflix and been hooked ever since. My Son watched it and I could hear it from time to time and it actually sounded stupid to me back when it started..

I haven't watched a single episode of the other show,, the Talking Dead or some shit like that, is that any good?

Lol. Thats just a wrap up show. If you like the show you might enjoy it. They usually have actors from the show or writers come on and talk about the show.

Yeah talking dead is a post game show basically. What you are thinking of most likely is the other show fear the walking dead. I haven't seen it so I can't comment

FTWD is just a different area of the country during the same timeline. Same universe but different coast. It starts off in LA I believe. Most people who like TWD like FTWD. There was no way in Hell I was going to add another Walking Dead time sink into my life so I never saw it and cant comment on quality.
