Have we lost sight of what SOCOM is about. I haven't

I hate all these little punks comming to the forums thryong to get invites...and I bet half of them get them BEFORE ME

socom is now cod ...... shame

Socom was completeing a special operations mission with yur friends against real people. Extracting hostages, breaching the terrorists base & blowing it up, etc....

This game is a FPS with a 3rd person camera so you can see how mch cover your behind. I could handle that, but the lack of game modes is going to kill this game in it's tracks.

And it def isn't a SOCOM game, only socom in name. When I heard that your accuracy was the same in all views, i was somewhat optimistic. Now that it's basicly "hip fire" = 3rd person cam, it's DEF a FPS game. How that translates into gameplay, I have an idea. Should play a lot like CoD....

The problem is, as much CoD S&D as I play, can S4 beat Black Ops? If it had escort, breach, extraction, convoy, demolition, etc..., then yeah it would beat blops...

It's def not a TRUE scom game, we haven't gotten a true one on this system yet...
